Our MSc in Offshore, Subsea and Pipeline Engineering will give you the skills required to become a practising engineer in a demanding industry.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Newcastle University

A 2:2 honours degree, or international equivalent, in:

  civil engineering

  mechanical engineering

  naval architecture

  offshore engineering

  ocean engineering

  marine engineering

  any other ly related discipline

  Relevant professional experience is desirable, although not essential.

  We will consider your application on an individual basis if you have lower or non-standard qualifications and significant, relevant professional experience.

  Direct Entry: IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills). TOEFL IBT: score of 90 with a minimum of Reading - 18, Writing - 17, Listening - 17, Speaking - 20.
