This programme gives you the intellectual and practical skills you need to engage in linguistics research, either by itself, or as part of cross-disciplinary research.

How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Edinburgh

A UK 2:1 honours degree, or its international equivalent, in theoretical linguistics, applied linguistics, modern languages, English language, cognitive science or psychology.

  IELTS: total 7.0 (at least 6.5 in each module)
