About the course
Sustainable development and environmental management are two key challenges faced by the Global South. It’s a topical and fast-growing field — with a lot of opportunities to make a real difference in the world. Our Environment and Development MSc will give you the platform to investigate the debates and challenges associated with international development and how to achieve environmentally, socially and economically sustainable solutions for the future. As part of our Environment and Development MSc degree, you'll be provided with high-quality interdisciplinary training in the operations of the Global South, alongside teaching in environmental policy, political ecology and global inequalities.

How to apply
Entry requirements for University of Leeds
A bachelor degree with a 2:1 (hons) or above in the social sciences such as international development, geography, politics, sociology, environmental management, sustainability, in environmental science or in a related subject. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) an overall band of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in each component skill. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) of 92 with no less than 21 in listening, 21 in reading, 23 in speaking and 22 in writing.
