Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Glasgow is ranked 2nd in Scotland (Complete University Guide 2023). In research excellence (REF2014), Engineering was in the UK top 10 for number of staff judged to be world leading, 5th in the UK for world-leading and internationally excellent research. Students taking nanoscale manufacturing options will work in the James Watt Nanofabrication Centre, which hold a number of world records in nano-manufacturing, and boasts a 1350 m2 cleanroom and over £32M of fabrication tools. You will take part in an interdisciplinary team project specifically designed to prepare you for engineering projects in industrial manufacturing, dealing with both technical issues and key non-technical issues such as legal, environmental and financial considerations.
