About the course

Our MSc Automotive Engineering with Electric Vehicles prepares you for a career in the automotive industry and the complex and fast developments taking place. You will be taught in a purpose-designed engineering building, by staff with exceptional knowledge and expertise in their fields. Our visiting speakers from business and industry provide professional perspective, preparing you for an exciting career. Our location is in the heart of one of Europe's biggest concentrations of high-tech businesses and the UK motorsport valley. This offers opportunities to collaborate with the automotive industry and their supply chain. And keeps you up to date with developments in: automotive technologies, production methods, processes, management techniques. You can get involved with our award-winning Oxford Brookes Racing (OBR) team. With students from across the department, the team design, build and race a single-seat Formula Student car. You should have a CEng accredited BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate first degree to comply with full CEng registration requirements.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Oxford Brookes University

You should normally hold a first degree equivalent to at least a British lower second-class bachelor's degree in mechanical, automotive or motorsport engineering or a related discipline. Applicants with relevant professional experience will also be considered.

　　If your first language is not English you will require a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 6.0 in all components.
