How to apply

Entry requirements for Cardiff University

The programme is suitable for applicants that hold a minimum 2:2 degree or equivalent, in chemistry or a related discipline such as chemical engineering, pharmacy, pharmacology and biochemistry. Applicants with a degree in a subject other than chemistry will be required to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of key chemical topics prior to an offer being made.

  IELTS (Academic) - 6.5 (with at least 5.5 in each sub-score)

  TOEFL (iBT) - At least 90 with minimum scores of 17 for writing, 17 for listening, 18 for reading and 20 for speaking

  International Baccalaureate Language A- HL 4 or SL 5
