About the course
Troy University’s social science master’s degree will allow you to dive deeper into the areas of the social sciences in which you are the most interested. As a student of social science, you will learn to analyze societal issues, identify improvements and recommend solutions using statistics and data analysis. You’ll learn to communicate effectively and to evaluate individual and community needs. As you further analyze complex social problems, you will work toward realistic solutions using awareness, acceptance and appreciation of diversity, social factors and global multicultural perspectives. Entry requirements for Troy University
Hold a master's or higher degree from a regionally accredited or equivalent foreign university. No test score or letter of recommendation is required for those who hold a master?s or higher degree from an accredited university for any master?s level program. All official transcripts must be provided. or Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited or equivalent foreign university with a minimum overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.5 (4.0 scale) or a 3.0 grade point average on the last 30 semester hours. or Hold a baccalaureate degree from an unaccredited or otherwise accredited college or university with a minimum overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.5 (4.0 scale) or a 3.0 grade point average on the last 30 semester hours.
TOEFL): 193 (computer-based test), 70 (Internet-based test), or 523 (paper test). IELTS): score of 6.0.
