About the course

This course provides tools for the quantitative evaluation of alternative policies, plans and decisions. Nationally, demand for graduates comes from government departments (agriculture, Forest Products Commission, treasury, transport and infrastructure, minerals and energy, and health), government agencies (CSIRO, DSTO) and industries such as mining and petroleum, banking, communications, defence, transport and logistics and manufacturing.

　　Have demonstrated knowledge and understanding that is founded upon and extends and/or enhances that typically associated with the bachelor-level, and that provides a basis or opportunity for originality in developing and/or applying ideas, often within a research context. Can integrate knowledge and handle complexity, and formulate judgements with incomplete or limited information, but that include reflecting on social and ethical responsibilities linked to the application of their knowledge and judgements.
