About the course

The School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences offers a Master of Science degree in veterinary sciences. The program offers excellent opportunities for career development in the veterinary and biomedical field. The school is engaged in basic and applied biomedical research of animal health and disease. An interdisciplinary approach is used involving collaboration among the disciplines of bacteriology, virology, immunology, molecular biology, pathology, biochemistry, toxicology, and epidemiology. The multidisciplinary composition of veterinary and biomedical sciences provides unique opportunities for research on disease pathogenesis, host defense, characterization of microbial pathogens, gene regulation, disease diagnosis and control, and epidemiology of food animal production.
