About the course
The La Follette School and the Department of Planning and Landscape Achitecture (DPLA) offer a three-year double-degree program in planning and public affairs that culminates in two degrees: a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning and a Master of Public Affairs or Master of International Public Affairs degree. The program requires 72 units of graduate credits and normally requires three years for completion. Students in the double-degree program must satisfy 36 credits toward the MPA or MIPA degree. They will receive 19 credits from 6 core courses worth 3 credits each, in addition to a 1 cr. career development seminar for public affairs. Scholarships - View all scholarships Internships

Entry requirements for University of Wisconsin - Madison
Please upload a current resume to the online application. The statement of purpose provides you the opportunity to demonstrate your motivation to pursue a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) or Master of International Public Affairs (MIPA) degree and your commitment to a career dedicated to public service. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation , Applicants must submit undergraduate transcripts in pdf format as part of the graduate school application. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable. If you are accepted to the La Follette School and decide to attend, you will then be required to submit official transcripts to the UW-Madison Graduate School. The supplemental application is included in the online application linked in step 2. Please review your transcripts and provide the information requested in the supplemental application about the prerequisite courses you have completed. All students must submit Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores before they can be considered for admission. The La Follette School requires a TOEFL paper-based test score of 580 or above, TOEFL computer-based test score of 237 or above, TOEFL Internet-based test score of 92 or above, IELTS score of 7 or above, Applicants for the MPA program should submit official transcripts showing undergraduate performance with at least the equivalent of a 3.0 G.P.A.
