About the course
The program in special education prepares graduates to provide collaborative leadership to facilitate academic and social learning for all students including individuals with disabilities and/or those at-risk for learning or behavioral problems. To prepare graduate level special educators and behavior analysts to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams the masters program focuses on Applied Behavior Analysis and Multi-tiered System of Supports. The masters program is open to special education teachers, other educators, as well as students from other disciplines. How to apply
Entry requirements for Brigham Young University - Provo
Have a teaching license in general education, special education, or a related service qualification (though non-teaching university degrees are considered), and/or
Provide evidence of successful experience working with students at risk for or diagnosed with disabilities
Evidence of Bachelor’s Degree and Transcripts.
Receive at least a 3.0 grade-point average in the cumulative undergraduate GPA from a regionally accredited university in the United States, or a comprehensive grade-point average of 3.0 from an equivalent university outside the United States.
IELTS - Overall minimum band score of 7.0 (consisting of minimum band scores of 6.0 in each module)
TOEFL (paper based test) - 580
TOEFL iBT (internet based test) - Minimum subscores of 22 (Speaking) and 21 (Listening, Reading, & Writing respectively) comprising an overall score at least 85.
