How to apply

Entry requirements for New Jersey Institute of Technology

Applicants are expected to have undergraduate backgrounds in physics, mathematics (through differential equations and vector analysis), electrical networks and devices, electronics, analysis and design methods, transients, electromagnetic fields, and appropriate laboratory work in some of these areas. GRE scores must be submitted.

  To be considered for a master's program at NJIT, you must have completed a four-year accredited Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, and demonstrate strong academic achievement in an appropriate discipline. Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. GRE/TOEFL/GMAT/IELTS results. One letter of recommendation. The minimum score required is 79 for the Internet-based TOEFL exam, 213 for the computer-based TOEFL exam, or 550 for the paper-based TOEFL exam. A minimum score of 6.5 with no sub-score lower than 6.0 is required for the IELTS exam.
