About the course

The Department of Plant Science offers a Masters degree program which provides students with an excellent opportunity to further their studies in broad areas of plant science including agronomy, soil-water relations, plant physiology, ornamental horticulture, entomology, pathology, and weed management.The program consists of 30 units of coursework which includes required courses in plant physiology, laboratory techniques, experimental design, technical writing and formal presentation of research reports along with electives and a thesis project. How to apply

Entry requirements for California State University

Official GRE score: suggested minimum of 152 verbal, 147 Quantitative and 3.0 analytical writing, sent to the university by ETS.

　　Grade point average (GPA) for the last 60 units: minimum 2.75

　　TOEFL score: for those required to take this exam, score of 80 (internet-based exam).

　　Official college transcript verifying completion of prerequisite courses and conferral of the bachelor's degree
