About the course

The Master of Science degree can be obtained through either a thesis option (recommended) or a non-thesis option. Prerequisite to major graduate work is completion of a curriculum essentially equivalent to that required by the department for the BS degree at New Mexico State University. How to apply

Entry requirements for New Mexico State University

Qualifications for admission will be reviewed by the departmental graduate faculty. Applications should include a letter of interest. A 3.0 undergraduate grade-point average is needed for admission to study for the M.S degree. The department requires the GRE scores and three letters of recommendation, transcripts, as well as the student's letter of interest as an admission requirement. Acceptance requires that a graduate faculty member in the applicant’s area of interest accept the student into their program. TOEFL 79 IBT, 550 PBT, 6.5 IELTS.
