Have a calculus-based engineering degree (having completed differential equations, and physics courses with lab) with a cumulative GPA equivalent of 3.000 on a 4.000 scale, based on the undergraduate study,
Applicants in other majors such as math, physics, or chemistry may be considered for conditional admission if they have completed calculus, including differential equations, and physics courses with lab, Undergraduate courses will be listed to correct deficiencies which will prepare them for graduate courses in mechanical engineering,

To be acceptable, the score must be sent to WSU directly from the testing agency, and must be less than two years old. The minimum acceptable scores for most programs are: TOEFL ? 79 on the Internet-based test, or 550 on the paper-based test. IELTS ? minimum overall band score of 6.5 is required.
