About the course
The Master of Science in Management Information Systems program is a rigorous degree program offering a number of unique features and benefits: Solid technical and business foundation: Our students leave our program with a solid technical information systems foundation and appropriate business skills.Problem-solving skills: Graduates can immediately contribute to solving business problems, which makes them highly valued and respected in the workforce and sought after by top companies. Students complete the program in four semesters, beginning the program in August and finishing in May of the following year. The number of hours in the last semester can be reduced by completing an internship (ISTM 684) for credit during the summer between the second and third semester as a directed elective. This would reduce the course load in the final semester to 6 credits (two classes). The following table outlines the progression through the program via the traditional pathway.
