About the course

The MSM program offers an intensive exposure to business applications focusing on interdisciplinary STEM-related areas.

　　Especially noteworthy is that the MSM program seeks to integrate fundamental business principles with technical knowledge and critical-thinking skills that leverage the university?s strengths in engineering, computing, architecture and social sciences to develop interdisciplinary skill-sets.

　　The MSM curriculum puts it all together and prepares managers who know how to use technology to meet strategic objectives, who have business smarts, and who can meet the growing demand for technology savvy leadership. The Master of Science in Management is a 30 credit program that prepares graduates for managerial roles in organizations. Its emphasis is on melding business fundamentals and technical knowledge within specific areas of concentration including Business Analytics, Global Project Management, and Web Systems and Media, and Financial Technology (FinTech). How to apply

Entry requirements for New Jersey Institute of Technology

Applicants to the MS are required to have earned a bachelor's degree or the equivalent and to achieve an acceptable score on the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or the GRE test.

　　International students whose native language is not English are required to take the TOEFL exam (minimum score of 79) or the IELTS (minimum score of 6.5). Candidates with earned bachelor degrees with a minimum (GPA of 2.8) from US accredited institutions may waive the GMAT/GRE. Candidates with earned masters and PhD degrees from accredited US and Canada based institutions may also waive the GMAT/GRE requirement.

　　We urge applicants who have been out of school for a while to prepare for the GMAT or GRE before sitting for the exam.

　　The minimum score required is 79 for the Internet-based TOEFL exam, 213 for the computer-based TOEFL exam, or 550 for the paper-based TOEFL exam. A minimum score of 6.5 with no sub-score lower than 6.0 is required for the IELTS exam.
