About the course

The MS in Interior Architecture is a 49- or 69-credit graduate program structured to meet the needs of students from nondesign, design and architecture backgrounds, seeking one of the best professional-level educations in interior design/interior architecture. The program offers up to one year of advanced standing for those already in the field who are interested in refining their knowledge and skills at the graduate level. This program prepares students to reach their full potential, whether seeking an introduction or building on previous experience. As an Interior Architecture program, we emphasize how the interior environment encompasses all parts of the interior volume and acknowledges the intersection between architecture and interiors. Entry requirements for Thomas Jefferson University - INTO USA

Transcripts: Submit official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from all regionally accredited institutions you have attended and/or from which you earned credit Personal Statement: Submit a statement of purpose outlining your interest in the program, how the course of study relates to your desired career path, and your academic and job-related experiences that are relevant to the program.

　　Letters of Recommendation: Submit two letters of reference that provide insight into your academic competence. References from college or university faculty members are recommended. You may request recommendations through your MyJefferson account.

　　R?sum?: A current professional r?sum? is required. Portfolio: A portfolio is required for students applying for advanced standing in the MSIA program. If you have an undergraduate degree in interior design/interior architecture and/or architecture you may apply for advanced standing. The portfolio should include creative and/or professional work in architecture, interior design and/or the visual arts. Applicants without UG degrees in these fields do not need to submit a portfolio.

　　Bachelor?s degree from a US college or university or a country where English is an official language

　　Prerequisites - Degree & GPA GPA Requirement: A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is preffered. Students with a GPA below 3.0 may be considered based on work experience, an exceptional portfolio or other proof of prior performance.

　　Degree Prerequisite: Applicants are required to have a Bachelor?s degree from a regionally accredited institution prior to the start of the program.
