About the course

The graduate program in industrial engineering is designed to provide the student with fundamental knowledge in the various areas of industrial engineering and with the opportunity to emphasize in a particular area. A student pursuing a master's degree may specialize in any area of industrial engineering such as general industrial engineering, operations research and applied statistics, manufacturing systems, logistics, enterprise systems, enterprise management, and ergonomics. The Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering is a research-oriented program which consists of a thesis option, thesis-substitute option, and a non-thesis option. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Texas - Arlington

You may apply as an international graduate student if you have completed a bachelor’s degree from either a U.S. regionally accredited college or university or its foreign equivalent before starting graduate study. UTA offers master’s degrees, doctoral degrees, and graduate certification programs. The minimum acceptable score on the TOEFL is on the Internet-based test 79 (with sectional scores of 22 writing, 21 speaking, 20 reading, and 16 listening), 550 on the paper-based test and 213 on the computer-based test. The IELTS can be substituted for TOEFL scores. The minimum acceptable overall score of 6.5 is required for admission. A GPA of at least 3.0 in the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework. A GPA of at least 3.0 in all prior graduate work.
