Program courses are designed to provide students with the skills needed to develop a systems view, identify and characterize the associated data, and then create advanced mathematical models to prescribe optimal solutions.
The MSIE graduate program is structured to support the manufacturing, distribution and supply chain industries, as well as the diverse service industries in the region and throughout the nation. Individuals with a diversity of technical background have completed the MSIE degree. These individuals are attracted by the historically strong role played by IEs in modeling and analysis within traditional production and distribution settings, that now extend to healthcare, transportation, and a wide range of service industries. Program provides advanced training in operations research, supply chain, and process modeling and analysis. All courses are offered primarily in evening and weekend sessions at our Newark campus, and ideal for working professionals. Many courses are also offered online in an E-learning mode.
