About the course
The master's degree program will provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge needed to implement and support information technology solutions for health sector organizations. Graduates will obtain technical knowledge and management skills for the design and support of IT systems and will develop a deep understanding of health IT processes to support health care delivery management. Graduates will also gain knowledge in areas of health information management including health information processing and exchange, health care analytics, enterprise management and information storage and security management. The program will prepare students for a variety of careers, from health information management & Health IT to health-focused data science & analytics, as well careers focused on creating new digital therapeutics (DTx) and launching tech startups around novel innovations in digital health. How to apply
Entry requirements for DePaul University
Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
Bachelor's degree awarded from a regionally accredited institution
Submit official transcripts from all college and universities attended, one of which must show the conferral of a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
Professional experience as evidenced by a resume or industry certifications
Letters of recommendation
The minimum scores considered for full graduate admission to CDM are:
80 on the iBT of the TOEFL with a minimum score of 17 on each section
550 on the paper-based TOEFL test
6.5 on the IELTS test
