About the course
The MS degree is a research degree designed for students who want to specialize in particular academic or scientific areas. This degree is for students who plan an academic, research, or staff specialist career, and for those students who plan to pursue a PhD. The MS requires a thesis and minimum of 30 semester hours of graduate level course work, 12 hours of which must be in courses open to graduate students only, and three hours of which must be in FORS 7300 (thesis) Scholarships - View all scholarships Internships

Entry requirements for University of Georgia
A baccalaureate degree, or a foreign equivalent, from a regionally accredited institution are eligible to apply for admission to the Graduate School
An overall average of 3.0 must be maintained on all courses on the Program of Study
Minimum TOEFL score requirement: overall score of 80 with at least 20 on speaking and writing
Minimum IELTS score requirement: overall band-width of 6.5, with no single band (score) below 6.0.
