About the course

The Master of Science (Food Science) program focuses on food processing and food safety, with particular emphasis on relationships with food quality and acceptability. Students will research a variety of areas including food microbiology, product development and processing and food safety and quality

  The Department of Food and Human Nutritional Sciences offers Masters (MSc) and doctorate (PhD) programs in both food science and human nutritional sciences. The department is excited to announce the launch of a new Combined Masters Practicum program in dietetics. The Master of Applied Human Nutrition (MAHN) program is a one year, three-semester program consisting of graduate course work and competency based practical experience.

  Department research is in the areas of applied human nutrition, food chemistry and bioresources, food processing and preservation, food safety and quality assurance, and metabolic and molecular nutrition. Scholarships - View all scholarships Internships
