About the course
The Master of Science in Environmental Studies program, offered by the Department of Environmental Studies, is designed to prepare students for careers as environmental professionals or to pursue further academic training in Ph.D. and other advanced degree programs. Global and local perspectives are integrated in the coursework and the faculty and students embrace a diversity of perspectives. Faculty members work ly with graduate students within the above areas of specialization to execute a program of study. An undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies or related field from an accredited institution.A minimum 3.0 (B) overall grade point average for the last 60 semester units of academic study at an accredited institution.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): acceptable scores are 580 (paper-based), 237 (computer-based), 92 (internet-based) for foreign students.A 2.5 institutional GPA (from the 0.0-4.0 U.S. grading scale) in the last degree completed, or a 2.5 GPA in the last two years of full time study.
