About the course
Master of Science Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (MS-ECE) provides students with advanced engineering education in Electrical or Computer Engineering. The overarching goal of the program is to enhance the students' ability to be successful and advance in their chosen careers in industry, academia, and public instruction. The program provides opportunities for integration and cross areas of electrical and computer engineering.
The mission of the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is to fulfill the needs of the region and state by providing an undergraduate technical education in electrical engineering and computer engineering to a diverse group of students. Additionally, the department strives to continually update its program of study in order to qualify its graduates for positions in industry located in the region and beyond while providing sufficient breadth and depth in its program to assure its graduates a successful practice in the profession. How to apply
Entry requirements for California State University
An applicant must have a degree equivalent to a four-year U.S. baccalaureate degree from an accredited program in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a bachelor's degree from an accredited engineering, natural science, or other appropriate program.
A GPA of at least 3.0 for the last 60 semester units (90 quarter units) prior to entry in the MSE programs is required.
