About the course

We offer one master’s degree with two areas of specialization: Apparel and Merchandising and Interior Design (post-professional degree, a bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related design discipline is required). The number of graduate students in our department typically ranges from 20-40 students. Focus on scientific discovery and creative scholarship in the fields of apparel design and production, consumer behavior, historic costume and textiles, merchandising, product development, social psychological and cultural aspects of dress and appearance, and textile science to support human and environmental well-being. Focus on design research, person-environment relationships, and evidence-based design scholarship for interior architecture environments to support user health/wellness and environmental sustainability. How to apply

Entry requirements for Colorado State University

Request that official GRE and official TOEFL examination scores be reported from ETS to Colorado State University (CSU institution code: 4075). Photocopies will not be accepted.

　　Request that official international paper transcripts and certified translations from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended be sent to Office of Admissions, 1062 Campus Delivery, Fort Collins, CO 80523-1062. (Colorado State University transcripts are not required.)

　　Request three letters of recommendation, you will be asked to provide names and contact information for those writing letters when you complete the online application.

　　Official transcripts or mark sheets and any certificates, diplomas, or degrees from each college or university attended is required regardless of the length of attendance, including courses in progress.

　　A minimum of three (3) letters of recommendation are required from previous instructors or employers who are able to comment on your abilities and potential for graduate study.

　　TOEFL score for admission without condition is 550 (paper based), or 80 (internet based). IELTS score for admission without condition is 6.5.
