Crop & soil scientists are responsible for the world's food, feed & fiber supply, & conserving soil & water resources. Research areas include Environmental Soil Science/Water Quality, Crop Management/Physiology, Turfgrass Science, Weed Science, & Plant Breeding/Genetics.

　　Crop and soil scientists are responsible for the world’s food, feed, and fiber supply, while conserving our soil and water resources. Our goals are to provide the best educational programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, conduct innovative basic and applied research programs in the crop, soil, turf, and environmental sciences, and to provide superior service to our clientele.

Entry requirements for University of Georgia

Coursework taken at the tertiary level, which lists the name of the courses, grades, credits and etc.

　　We require an original stamp from the issuing institution

　　The University of Georgia will accept satisfactory scores on either the TOEFL or IELTS language proficiency examinations for admission to graduate programs. TOEFL scores can be submitted electronically by the testing agency. IELTS scores must be send by paper. Minimum TOEFL score requirement: overall score of 80 with at least 20 on speaking and writing.
