About the course
The M.S. degree in Computer Science requires a minimum of 30 credit hours of graduate level course work. The degree program can take one of three forms: a report option requiring 30 hours including 2 credit hours of report and 1 credit hour of seminar, a thesis option requiring 30 hours including 6 credit hours of research, and a non-thesis/report option requiring 33 hours of computer science classes. Entry requirements for Kansas State University
A bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a regional or national institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Undergraduate preparation in the proposed major field equivalent to that acquired by a graduate of Kansas State University, or evidence of an appropriate background for undertaking an advanced degree program, and
Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale or GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 hours of coursework. This GPA is based only on courses graded on a multi-level scale, usually A, B, C, D, F.
TOEFL iBT - 79, TOEFL PBT - 550, IELTS - 6.5
GRE Scores - Minimum scores: Verbal – 146, Quantitative – 151, Analytical – 3.0
