About the course
Transportation systems are the building blocks of modern society. Efficient and safe movement of information, people, goods and services ensures a thriving economy and improves our quality of life.
Our students study not only the design and operations of these critical systems but also their influence on our travel behavior, how they affect the quality of our environment, and how they influence the design our communities. Working with our faculty of world-renowned scholars, students help to improve the design and performance of transportation systems as well as our understanding of how they fit into the environmental, institutional and social contexts of our society. Entry requirements for Georgia Institute of Technology
Evidence of award of a bachelor's degree, its equivalent, or higher degree (prior to matriculation) from a regionally accredited institution, demonstrated academic excellence, and evidence of experience in the selected field of graduate study. The required minimum total score on the exams are: The internet-based TOEFL exam = 90, with minimum section scores of 19 or higher on each skill area, The paper-based TOEFL exam = 577, IELTS exam - Overall score minimum of 7, with minimum section scores for reading 6.5, listening 6.5, speaking 6.5 and writing 5.5.
