About the course
The Master of Science in Chemistry is available either in thesis or non-thesis track. Research areas in analytical, organic, inorganic, physical, biochemistry, and materials are active in the department.The Department of Chemistry offers both a thesis and a non-thesis option leading to the Master of Science degree in Chemistry. The thesis option is designed to provide students with advanced course work and experience in chemical research. This option is desirable for students to engage in chemical research or continue graduate studies toward the Ph.D. degree.
Chemistry is the central science that permeates all science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) disciplines. Our chemistry faculty has developed a program to meet the needs of undergraduate and graduate students who desire to pursue research or teaching careers, graduate studies in chemistry, or studies towards careers in dentistry or medicine.
