With new discoveries and break-through advances in technology happening year-round, the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering is an exciting place to be - come join usWith a global reputation for scholarship, research with social purpose, and diversity, we offer unlimited opportunities for advanced education and research leading to Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Chemical Engineering, Process Control, and Materials Engineering. We also offer a Master of Engineering (MEng) program and a joint Master of Business/Master of Engineering (MBA/MEng) degree is also offered in co-operation with the School of Business. The MSc minimum course requirement is four courses plus the ethics course. At least two courses must be 600 or higher level courses in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering. The balance of the courses shall be at the 500 or higher level in the Faculty of Engineering, or at the 400 or higher level in a Science Department. A completed undergraduate degree in chemical or materials engineering from a recognized institution.Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0 in the last two years of study, or an equivalent qualification.Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 580 paper based test or 92 iBT with 20 in each section.International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic) with an overall band score of 7.0 and 6.0 on each band.
