About the course
Students pursuing a M.S. in Chemical Engineering deepen their fundamental knowledge of chemical engineering and gain professional skills and hand-on experiences for industrial careers.
The program offers a thesis and non-thesis option. The thesis option requires 24 semester hours of graduate course work and 6 semester hours of thesis research. An oral defense of the thesis is also required.

Entry requirements for University of Akron
Hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university or have met the requirements for the baccalaureate degree which will be awarded prior to the beginning of graduate study. GPA of 2.75. TOEFL IBT - 79. IELTS - 6.5. TOEFL PBT - 550.
