Discoveries in the field of biotechnology have already brought us insulin, cancer and auto-immune therapeutics, cell and gene therapies, and have pioneered bio-based environmental solutions such as pollution remediation. How to apply

Entry requirements for Northwestern University

Competitive applications feature GPA's above 3.5 and TOEFL or IELTS scores better than 100 or 7.5, respectively. We accept a three-year degree on a case-by-case basis. We value the ability to think critically and creatively (i.e., solve problems). Demonstrating these skills will increase your chances of being admitted. We do not have one. We look at the application holistically. Extensive work experience, or strong post-graduate academic performance can offset weakness in the undergraduate GPA.
