About the course

This course will introduce you to key concepts of haematopoietic stem cells and normal blood cell production through to disease processes, diagnosis and personalised treatments.

  It is accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science. During your time at Kingston, the course will offer guidance and preparation for your future IBMS registration. An extended research project will enable you to pursue an area of interest in depth.

  The course is delivered two days per week and, with part-time options, can help you fit your studies around other commitments.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Kingston University London

A 2:2 or above honours degree or equivalent in, biomedical science, medical microbiology, medical genetics, molecular biology, haematology, or immunology. Other biology and medical science degrees will be considered on an individual basis. All applicants must demonstrate sufficient understanding of immunology and either haematology or medical microbiology. As our MSc routes specialise in Haematology or Medical Microbiology, prior study of the relevant subject is required. Candidates with non-standard qualifications but with relevant experience are also welcome to apply.
