Entry requirements for University of Wisconsin - La Crosse

Admission to these Biology M.S. programs at UW-La Crosse requires a minimum 2.85 undergraduate GPA. Request that ALL previously attended institutions of higher education send official transcripts to the UW-La Crosse Admissions Office. Completion of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a requirement for admittance to this program. This program requires submission of a personal statement. 3 letters of recommendation are required. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution. English Proficiency: Non-native English speakers must meet one of the following for admission:

  • TOEFL score of at least 79 iBT or 550 pBT

  • IELTS score of at least 6.0. TOEFL and IELTS scores cannot be more than 2 years old.
