About the course
The Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology offers a high quality learning environment for both undergraduate and graduate students within a high powered research program. We offer exciting research opportunities for our undergraduate majors and highly personalized training to Ph.D. graduate students and postdoctoral trainees. The BMB faculty has a tradition of excellence in teaching, while their research accomplishments have been recognized nationally and internationally in the areas of biochemistry, and molecular, cellular, and structural biology, and is supported by the highest levels of external funding per faculty in the College of Natural Sciences. The Plan B Masters program in Biochemistry offers a rigorous and extensive education in biochemistry. It provides students with in-depth knowledge in the fields of cellular biochemistry, gene expression, bioinformatics, molecular genetics, and biophysics, and includes training in communication skills, responsible conduct in research, and opportunities for research projects. Our curriculum is taught by tenure-track faculty with extensive research experience in cutting edge areas of biochemistry.
The curriculum prepares students for careers in academia, government, biotechnology, medicine, or the pharmaceutical industry, as well as strengthening applications to professional or graduate schools.

Entry requirements for Colorado State University
