About the course

The Master of Science in Architecture at Texas A&M University advances your knowledge of environmental design through theoretical concepts and research methods. In this program, you’ll explore and expand the field of architecture through multidisciplinary study and a final thesis.

　　Our program provides an opportunity to examine the past, be equipped for the present, and prepared for future challenges in architecture. We will challenge you to think creatively and critically as you address design problems on various scales.

　　The Master of Science in Architecture is a non-professional degree with a focus on research. It can lead to pursuing a Ph.D. in architecture.

　　Our M.S. in architecture program lets students explore topics related to faculty expertise, departmental emphasis areas, and research centers within the school.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Texas A and M University - College Station

Submit transcripts from all colleges or universities attended.  Official transcripts are required from each post-secondary university or college attended. An official statement of the award of the degree or diploma is required for each degree completed. College work from one institution posted on the transcript of another institution will not be accepted.

　　International students must also submit one of the following: Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Verbal score of 146 minimum, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores of 80 minimum, PBT- 550. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) of 6.0 minimum, or Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic of 53 minimum.

　　With the application, all students must submit Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores. The recommended minimum combined score of 300 must include a minimum of 146 Verbal for international students. Use code 6003 for reporting GRE scores (department code not needed).
