A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field from an accredited university,
An acceptable grade-point average in undergraduate studies (a minimum GPA of 2.80 or 3.0 in the last 30 hours for unqualified admission),
Recommendations from three people knowledgeable of the applicant’s professional qualifications,
A statement of purpose for pursuing the master’s degree, and
Acceptable scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). The GRE is not required for applicants with a GPA of 3.25 or above in their undergraduate degree program.
Applicants for whom English is a second language are required to demonstrate an acceptable level of spoken English usually by submitting a TOEFL or IELTS score. TOEFL score of 79 (internet based test) 550 (paper based test) is required. Alternatively, an official IELTS, academic stream, examination with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 will satisfy the English proficiency requirements for admission to a graduate program.
