About the course

Grounded in the mathematical and statistical underpinnings of data science, this industry-focused major prepares students to apply their expertise in a range of real-world contexts. Curriculum combines theoretical (algebra, analysis) and applied (optimisation, econometrics) mathematics with the study of contemporary data science topics (Bayesian methods, machine learning). How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Technology Sydney

Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies.
