About the course

Designed in response to industry demand, this major equips students with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of industry-standard analytical instrumentation, as well as an understanding of how to develop and validate their methods in line with international accreditation standards. They can upskill in analytical techniques and their application in diverse fields such as environmental, forensic and medical sciences, among others, and engage with research projects that solve industry-relevant problems.

　　Graduates emerge with advanced skills in analytical instrumentation, method development and validation for quantitative analysis, ready for senior roles in a vast range of sectors and roles in which analytical chemistry expertise is highly valued. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Technology Sydney

Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies.

　　Entry into any of the majors requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in a related discipline.

　　The English proficiency requirement for international students or local applicants with international qualifications is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0, or TOEFL: paper based: 550-583 overall with TWE of 4.5, internet based: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21, or AE5: Pass
