About the course

The MPPA/MRP program prepares students for meaningful and effective careers at the national, state, and local levels in public policy, management, and economic development and planning. Students may begin their studies in either program. It is best to complete a full year in one program before beginning the second program. Students fulfill the core requirements of the other program during the second year, then fulfill the remaining requirements of both programs in the third year. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Massachusetts - Amherst

Applicants must complete a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association, or complete an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned. The minimum scores are 550 for the paper-based TOEFL test and 80 for the computer-based TOEFL test, 6.5 for the IELTS. Students are required to submit an explanation that address any grades falling below a letter grade B or a GPA of 3.0 by US standards.
