About the course

Prepare for a career in the public health sector with this internationally recognised qualification. Learn how you can make a valuable contribution to the health and welfare of your community. An ideal programme for students intending a career in disease prevention, surveillance, health promotion, epidemiology and other areas of public health. You can complete this programme as either a taught or research masters. The programme is recognised as Part I of training for Public Health Registrar. There are many opportunities for employment in the health sector, in New Zealand and internationally. Graduates will find employment in diverse areas including: public health sector, disease and surveillance and monitoring, public health management, health planning and policy making within health care organisations.
