  Apply tools for data collection, analysis and interpretation

  Develop the evidence-based reasoning and informatics approaches essential to public health practice.

  Get skilled at evaluating and applying population health concepts

  Identify and address Australia?s major health concerns, including those relevant to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

  Review key environmental, socioeconomic and cultural factors

  Examine factors that impact human health, influence the global and social burden of disease, and contribute to health disparities.

  Implement and manage specialised projects

How to apply

Entry requirements for Macquarie University

AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent and one years approved work experience in health, professional certification, or

  AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent, and one years approved work experience in health, professional certification or other recognised prior learning and a WAM of 65

  Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent.
