About the course

Accredited by the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA), the 42-credit Master of Public Administration prepares early- and mid-career students for professional, management and leadership careers in government, healthcare, and the non-profit sectors.

The program of study is flexible and can be tailored to accommodate a student's professional goals by offering specialization courses that allow him or her to examine a specific management function or an area of application in greater depth, including public administration, non-profit management, urban government management, human resources management, law and management, international public management and social policy management. Other specializations can be developed in consultation with a faculty advisor.

Instructed by dedicated faculty, the curricula stress leadership, problem-solving skills, ethical concerns, legal regulations, and cutting-edge information technology and computer-based management systems. Students will also gain hands-on experience through two integrative capstone courses, which synthesize all the student has learned over the duration of the program.
