Our program is one of fewer than 300 programs in the nation accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). Our graduates work in a wide variety of leadership positions across all levels of government, as well as diverse nonprofit and private organizations. How to apply

Entry requirements for Wright State University

Applicants must have earned a bachelor?s degree prior to matriculation in the MPA program. Students who earned an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 or a GPA of at least 2.7 with a 3.2 GPA for the second half of their undergraduate course work may be granted Regular admission status. Those with an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.7 or a GPA of at least 2.5 with a GPA of 3.0 for the second half of their undergraduate course work may be granted Conditional admission status. Prospective applicants who do not meet these criteria for admission should review the policies of the WSU Graduate School for additional options.

  A score of 79/120 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (T.O.E.F.L.)

  A band 6 or higher through the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

  During the current COVID-19 pandemic, the international admissions team will accept a minimum score of English proficiency on the following tests: TOEFL home 79 and IELTS indicator: 6
