About the course
The Master of Psychology (Clinical) degree at ACU is a two year postgraduate course consisting of academic coursework, practical training in assessment, diagnosis and intervention, and completion of a research project. Successful completion of the course allows registration as a general psychologist and upon completion of an additional period of supervised practice, for area of practice endorsement in clinical psychology with The Psychology Board of Australia. How to apply
Entry requirements for Australian Catholic University
(i)A four-year sequence in psychology with accreditation from the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council, comprising either an honours degree in psychology, or (ii) a threeyear degree, including an accredited sequence in psychology plus an accredited fourth year in psychology or equivalent. All non-Australian qualifications must be accompanied by a letter of assessment by the Australian Psychological Society indicating that the qualification is equivalent to a four-year Australian degree. A minimum of Second Class Honours Upper (H2A) is required. Your application must include referee reports (one professional/ personal and one academic). Shortlisted applicants must attend an interview. Applicants must be eligible for provisional registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
