About the course

The RMIT Master of Project Management is designed to enable you to work as a highly skilled project manager who has the potential and knowledge to succeed in various organisations which operate in project based sectors and organisations which manage by projects. This program has a strong emphasis on leadership and management including project scoping, scheduling, procurement, entrepreneurship, client relationships, financial and technology management and research. A blend of lectures and seminars with industry case studies and work relevant projects allows you to combine theory and practice in a real work environment. This program develops both your generic and discipline specific capabilities through the expansion of knowledge and ideas that align with the current and emerging expectations of employers and industry.

　　As a graduate of this program you will be able to:

　　Determine and apply knowledge of complex project management theory, principles and best practice to applied projects to contribute to the profession and discipline of project management

　　Critically analyse synthesise and reflect on project management theory and developments, both local and international, to extend and challenge knowledge and practice

　　Professionally communicate and justify project scope, design, implementation, strategy and /or outcomes, engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders across a range of industry sectors

How to apply

Entry requirements for RMIT University

You must have successfully completed an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification) in any discipline.

　　IELTS (Academic): minimum overall band of 6.5 (with no individual band below 6.0)

　　TOEFL (Internet Based Test - IBT): minimum overall score of 79 (with minimum of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing)
