About the course
The Master of Nursing Science is a 180-credit programme (one and a half years full-time or three years part-time) which enables registered nurses to further develop their knowledge and skills for professional practice.
As a graduate of the programme you will be equipped with expanded nursing knowledge, refined skills for evidence-based practice, and enhanced clinical judgment and research skills which will enable you to deliver advanced nursing practice, nursing education and leadership.

How to apply
Entry requirements for Eastern Institute of Technology
An undergraduate degree in nursing with a B average pass or higher. A B average pass or higher in the EIT Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science, or a postgraduate nursing qualification deemed equivalent to the EIT Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science, with a B average pass or higher. Applicants must be New Zealand registered nurses, or, in the case of international students, must be registered in their country of origin, and preferably have three years post-registration nursing experience. IELTS tests (Academic score of 6.5 with no band score lower than 6, achieved in a single test)
