Learn how to use music to support the development and wellbeing of people with complex emotional, intellectual, physical, or social needs.

　　You'll get a comprehensive grounding in music therapy. Study the theory and put it into practice in a clinical or social community setting. Then take what you've learned from your practical experience and apply that to your research project.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Victoria University of Wellington

Bachelor’s degree relevant to Music Therapy with strong background in Psychology or other approved Social Science discipline. A statement of intent, a sample of academic writing, two reference letters and CV are required. Audition and interview are also required.

　　IELTS overall band of 6.5 with no sub-score below 6.0, or n TOEFL 90 on the internet-based test with at least 20 in writing, or n a minimum of two ratings of 5 and two ratings of 4 in the Victoria University English Proficiency Programme test,
