Entry requirements for University of Texas - El Paso

A Bachelor of Music degree or equivalent.

　　Evidence of satisfactory undergraduate preparation in music.

　　An interview and submission of materials related to the applicant?s field of specialization. These include an audition (on-campus or video recording) for those specializing in Performance or Conducting, and samples of scholarly or creative work for those specializing in Education, Theory, or Composition. Applicants in Education are also required to have public school certification or equivalent professional teaching experience.
